Looking for Invisible braces in Dubai?

We at the Swedish Dental Clinic Dubai have what you are looking for!

Many patients, both children and adults have a need of straightening their teeth or correcting their bites. But not all patients are willing to wear regular metal braces. Most often it is because the metal braces are quite visible, and the patients might not be in favour of showing them off.

What are Invisible braces?

Invisible braces is a group name given to very different types of braces. This can be anything from ceramic braces, lingual braces, Invisalign aligners and Inman aligners.

As you can tell, the common theme is that they are less visible than regular metal braces and so are more discreet, ideal for patients who are conscious about not having the world know that they are undergoing treatment!

Why are invisible braces beneficial for me?

Have you ever wanted to have straighter teeth? Maybe you have always hated the look of those overlapping front teeth, or maybe they have recently shifted and started overlapping even more. Either way, what has put you off getting them fixed? Is it the image of old fashioned "train tracks" that wasn't so appealing? If so, invisible braces are the ideal fix!
You can have your teeth straightened and your bite corrected without anyone ever knowing, no matter if you have an important presentation to give, or have your calender full of meetings with clients.

What are the different types of invisible braces?

  • Ceramic braces are the equivalent to metal braces, but differ in the fact that the brackets which are placed on the front of the teeth are made of a special type of white/ transparent braces made of ceramic/ porcelain. This makes them blend in with the natural colour of the teeth and so are much less visible than metal braces.
  • Lingual braces: a type of braces where the brackets and wires are placed on the back of the teeth, towards the tongue. This means that they are always hiding behind the teeth and nobody can really see that you have braces unless you open REALLY wide.
  • Invisalign: a super thin clear plastic aligner that is custom made to fit onto your teeth. It gently moves your teeth into position, step by step. It is very easy to wear and gives great flexibility in that it doesn't affect your daily life or routines.
  • Inman aligners: Slightly bulkier removable aligners with a bow that runs across the front of the teeth. Great for minor changes of the front teeth at a lower cost.
